Inventory insights, and the export your accountant asks for
Stockout, stockout risk, overstocked, dead stock, sales performance, ABC analysis, inventory value and more, all exportable.
The questions merchants actually ask
Each report exists because merchants kept asking the same question and building the same spreadsheet to answer it.
- What is out, and what is about to be. Stockout lists what is unavailable right now. Stockout risk lists what is heading that way, so it can be fixed before it costs a sale.
- What is tying up cash. Overstocked finds excess, dead stock finds what is not selling at all, and both point at money sitting on a shelf.
- What is worth your attention. ABC analysis ranks products by sales contribution, so the effort goes to the lines that carry the store.
- What it is all worth. Inventory value reports holdings at cost across locations, which is the figure a bookkeeper asks for monthly.
- How it is selling. Sales performance covers trends and velocity per variant, and the variant report breaks inventory and units sold down by location and date range.
| Item | On hand | Last sold | Value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rope Basket · L ROP-BSK-L | 146 | 184 d | $4,088 |
| Ember Hoodie · XS EMB-HOD-XS | 92 | 122 d | $2,760 |
| Linen Napkin Set LIN-NAP-4 | 210 | 97 d | $2,415 |
Reporting on what you buy and move
The purchasing features bring their own reports, covering the paperwork and the movements they generate.
- Purchase orders. Track orders, outstanding line items and individual receipts by supplier, so you can see what arrived, what is late and what is still owed to you.
- Inventory adjustments. Every movement with its reason, staff member and cost impact. Export stocktake lines to review counted quantities and variances in a spreadsheet.
- Transfers. Movement and value between locations, at transfer and line level. In beta.
Filtered, then exported
A report you cannot get out of the app is only half useful.
- Filter before you export. Narrow by location, date range, product attributes and status, then export exactly that set rather than everything.
- CSV and XLSX. Both formats, because the spreadsheet your accountant uses is not always the one you use.
- Emailed when it is large. Big exports are generated in the background and sent to you, rather than timing out in a browser tab.
Common questions
Which reports come with Pro rather than Pro Plus?
Pro includes stockout, stockout risk, overstocked, dead stock, sales performance, ABC analysis and inventory value. The variant report is also available on Pro and Pro Plus where enabled for your store; contact us if you do not see it. Pro Plus adds purchase order and adjustment reporting, stocktake-line exports and transfers reporting for stores with beta access.
Can I schedule a report?
Large exports are emailed to you when they finish. Scheduled recurring reports are not available yet. Reorder alerts can be scheduled and can carry a CSV attachment, which covers the most common recurring need.
Do reports cover every location?
Yes, and you can scope them to a single location or a selection when you only care about one part of the business.
